Victoria from Indonesia is an INTO CSU Student Ambassador studying Business

Why did you choose CSU?

“After doing some research, I found out that Fort Collins is one of the safest and most bike-friendly cities in the US. It’s very open to nature and very peaceful, which is what I was looking for. CSU is great and has a great business program, which is my program. The Pathway program has helped me find the right resources at CSU. They create events that help international students to fit in and adapt to the community. The events really help students interact with others, learn other cultures, and get to know people here.”

How has the Pathway program helped you as a CSU student?

“The program has helped me find the right resources at CSU while I was studying my first year. They create events that help international students fit in and adapt with the community. The events really help students to interact with others, learn other cultures and get to know people here.”

What is your favorite part about INTO CSU?

“Living in Global Village has been the greatest experience. I get to meet with a lot of students from different countries and I get to learn their cultures and I think that is very cool.”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“I like hiking and reading if I have the time. I like to also watch movies.”

How likely are you to recommend INTO CSU to other students?

“I would recommend INTO CSU for international students, because I have had a really great experience. They’ve helped me fit in with my community and helped me to get to know Fort Collins. I feel it’s a great start for students who don’t really know English and also who have never been the US before, which was me before I came here, so INTO CSU has helped me a lot.”

What goals do you have for the future?

“My goal is to graduate on time and study abroad. I know I am studying abroad right now, but I still want to do summer programs outside of the country and then come back for the Fall. I really want to go to Italy, that’s been my dream.”

What advice do you have for future INTO CSU students?

“The advice I want to give to international students that are going to come to the US is don’t be afraid, because INTO CSU will definitely help you to study here. Also, find your community or club in Fort Collins.”
